SUPERTAC INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION: Make
sure you have the correct unit for your gun! This device is weapon
particular, so please read the label on your box.
You have just purchased the finest trigger enhancement device
available. The SUPERTAC is the culmination of many years of engineering
and will provide you with years of trouble free service. The device is a
great investment as it will undoubtedly go up in price in the not so distant
future.
THERE ARE THREE BASIC PARTS TO THE
UNIT: 1. The ADJUSTMENT BLOCK, 2. The TRIGGER LEVER, 3. The RETAINING BAND.
STEP 1: The unit comes mounted on
a "Dummy" trigger guard. Pay close attention to the part orientation
before disassembling! Disassembly the unit from the "Dummy" trigger guard
by loosening the screw on the adjustment block.
STEP 2: Install the ADJUSTMENT BLOCK
onto the trigger guard and tighten screw loosely so the block slides freely on
the trigger guard.
STEP 3: Place the TRIGGER LEVER on
inside of the trigger guard so that the short leg touches the guns trigger and
the large end pivots against the ADJUSTMENT BLOCK.
STEP 4: Wrap the retaining band evenly
around the TRIGGER LEVER and trigger guard EVENLY one end at a time. You
may pinch the RETAINING BAND with pliers to obtain a tighter fit. YOU MUST
ALLOW THE TRIGGER LEVER TO SLIDE FREELY BACK AND FORTH WITH THE RETAINING BAND
INSTALLED.
STEP 5: Cock the unloaded gun.
(This causes the trigger to jump forward on some guns) Take up any slack
in the installation by moving the ADJUSTMENT BLOCK toward the guns trigger thus
compressing the unit and tighten the screw. You may have to repeat this
process a few times to obtain the correct setting.
CORRECT SETTING: When you pull the
gun's trigger, the gun should dry fire as normal. Next, with your finger
on the gun's trigger, cock the unloaded gun again and release the gun's trigger
and push forward on the TRIGGER LEVER with the nail of your trigger finger.
It should dry fire easily. Spray some gun lube for ease of operation.
NOTE: Depending on your finger size it may be necessary to either move the
ADJUSTMENT BLOCK or bend the TRIGGER LEVER slightly forward until it feels
comfortable against your finger.
TO FIRE: Cock the rifle and point the
rifle at the intended target. Insert your trigger finger in between the
TRIGGER LEVER and the gun's trigger. Initiate the shot sequence by first
pushing forward on TRIGGER LEVER with your finger. When the gun fires
immediately pull back on the gun's trigger. Two quick accurate shots
should result. By doing this repeatedly a continuous burst of fire will
result. With a little practice this will yield a firing rate of 600-700
controllable and accurate shots per minute.
"FULL AUTO TYPE FIRE": On most
centerfire rifles, by slowly pushing forward on the TRIGGER LEVER or slightly
squeezing the guns trigger can cause the device to palpitate the trigger at a
"FULL AUTO TYPE" rate of fire and still retain legality due to the fact that the
gun fires once with each single function of the trigger. Results vary from
gun to gun but are always phenomenal!
