The sharp reticle point makes it one of the most accurate rifle scopes I've come across----it is my turtle killer.
CONDITIONS: 103 Fahrenheit; 30 inches Hg.; 5-10-mph varying wind coming from 12-1 o'clock directions from 0-250 yds., 8-15 mph varying wind coming from 1-3 o'clock directions form 300-600 yds.; clear sky.
TEST GUN: Colt Match Target .223 Flattop HBAR rifle (post-ban AR-15); HBAR chrome-lined barrel 1-in-9 twist. Installed rubber ACCU WEDGE under rear lug of upper receiver to minimize "play" between upper & lower receivers. The gun was not cleaned during the sight-in and shooting test.
AMMO USED:
Initial sight-in ammo: So. African 55-gr. .223 FMJ
Target Ammo: Hornady .223 55-gr. V-Max Moly 3240 FPS (ballistic/plastic tip).
SIGHT HEIGHT: LOW PROFILE
SHOOTING REST: Protektor mechanical rest with front and rear shooting bags (not rigidly mounted).
After sighting in the PO 6x42 riflescope, I shot this tight
100-yard 5-shot group. 
2-shot= 1/8"; 3-shot= 3/8"; 4-shot=3/4"; 5-shot=13/16"
For the PO 6x42 riflescope, 3 clicks = 1 MOA
200-yd. test shot after dialing in 2 clicks elevation:
200 & 300-yd. test shot after dialing in 7 more
clicks elevation for a total of 9: 
200, 300 & 400-yd. test shot after dialing in 12
more clicks elevation for a total of 21: 
500-yd. 5-shot group after dialing in 7 more clicks
elevation for a total of 28 (I also dialed in 2 clicks right for windage): 
600-yd. 6-shot group after dialing in 20 more clicks
elevation for a total of 48:
